RESERVATIONS

A Valid credit/debit card is required to secure all reservations. Your card will be authorized when you book the appointment, and charged the day of your appointment. All online mobile app deposits are processed through an SSL secured portal.

NEW CLIENTS

A non-refundable deposit is required to book all services. A Valid credit/debit card is required to secure all reservations. Your card will be authorized when you book the appointment, and charged the day of your appointment.

DEPOSITS

Deposits are non-refundable and are required to book an appointment at Vida Salons. All deposits show up as an account credit on your guest profile in salon. Account credits can be used for service and product purchases.

CANELLATION POLICY

We respectfully request at least 24 hours’ advanced notice for cancellations. We know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago, which is why we confirm appointments 48 hours in advance and ask for a credit card on file to hold the appointment.

Please be aware of the following:
Cancelations with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. Total “NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. Appointments made within the 24 hour period must give notice of cancellation at least 4 hours’ prior to the appointment. Those canceled with less than 2 hours’ notice will be subject to a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.

Service adjustment Policy

We strive to offer our guests the highest level of satisfaction. If you are having challenges with your cut or color, let us know within 7 days of your visit and we are happy to correct the issue at no additional charge within 14 days of the original appointment date. Please note that we do not offer complimentary services as a result of a change of mind or direction with haircut or color. ALL SERVICES/SALES ARE FINAL.

LATE ARRIVALS

Time is valuable to all of us. Punctuality is a necessity for all reservations. Any client arriving 10 minutes past the time of his or her reservation may be asked to reschedule, or shorten their scheduled service time.

PRODUCT RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY

It is our pleasure to provide you with a refund or exchange within seven days of purchase if the product remains unopened, sealed, and unused. If the item has been opened and used we will then offer you an exchange for a product that is better suited for you. All makeup products are nonrefundable as well as hairbrushes and hot tools.

If you’d like to test a product prior to committing to a purchase, please ask and we’ll be happy to demonstrate its use, answer any questions you have, and provide you with a sample.

PAYMENT

VIDA Salon accepts checks and the following credit cards: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and DISCOVER. Payment can also be made by redeeming a gift card from VIDA Salon (for products or services), or from AVEDA (for products only).

GRATUITIES

If you desire to leave a gratuity to a team member, it can be left as: Cash, included as part of your payment by check, or a separate line item on your credit card slip. Tipping is not required but greatly appreciated. Average tips are generally 18% to 20% of your service.

CELL PHONES

Feel free to text to your heart's content, however, we ask that you be considerate of others by silencing your cell phone, and refraining from taking calls during your service. If you must take a voice call, we ask that you place the caller on hold, then step outside for privacy. We reserve the right to abbreviate your service if your phone interferes with your allotted service time.

NO CHILDREN UNDER 13

Please arrange childcare prior to your appointment. Clients arriving with young children will be asked to reschedule and charged a $35 cancellation fee.

VIDA Salon is a non smoking environment.

LOST & FOUND

Although VIDA Salon will make every effort to responsibly handle lost and found items, VIDA Salon is not responsible for any eventual loss.

GIFT CARDS TERMS & CONDITIONS

Purchasing, Sending & Receiving Gift Certificates: Gift certificates are void where prohibited or restricted by law. Gift certificates cannot be used to purchase gift certificates. Gift certificates have no cash value. Gift certificates are not valid until payment has been received and successfully processed (if paying by Credit Card or Check). VIDA Salon reserves the right to refuse service or reverse any gift certificate purchase for any reason and return the funds to the purchaser.

Redeeming Gift Certificates: Gift certificates are only redeemable at VIDA Salon for the amount or service specified on the gift certificate, by the expiration date indicated. If a specified service is no longer available by the time the gift certificate is redeemed, the gift certificate can be redeemed for service of similar value, at the discretion of VIDA Salon. Not Refundable. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund. Any unused balance of the gift certificate will remain until redeemed or the original expiration date indicated on the gift certificate, whichever occurs first. If a purchase exceeds the amount listed on the gift certificate, the redeemer is responsible for paying the difference at time of purchase. For security purposes, a recipient may be required to show valid ID before he or she can redeem the gift certificate. Use and redemption of our gift certificates are also governed by our Privacy Policy. VIDA Salon, its agents and vendors, may provide gift certificate purchasers with information about the redemption status of gift certificates.

Cancellation & Expiration of Gift Certificates: VIDA Salon reserves the right to immediately invalidate gift certificates, without notice, should it receive a credit card chargeback, returned check or other form of repudiated payment made towards the gift certificate. VIDA Salon is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. Reasonable and prudent steps are taken to verify the legitimacy of a redeemer and upon full redemption or at the expiration date, we deactivate the gift certificate. VIDA Salon reserves the right to dishonor the gift certificate, if it reasonably believes the redeemer stole or is otherwise not the intended beneficiary of the purchaser. Gift certificates are not redeemable after the expiration date indicated on the gift certificate. If, before the expiration date, a gift certificate has not been redeemed, the original purchaser of the gift certificate may obtain a new copy of the original gift certificate from us. Alternatively, we may send out the original email notice of a gift certificate, if email was the original method of gift certificate delivery. VIDA Salon reserves the right to contact gift certificate purchasers, or known recipients, to remind them of upcoming expiration dates.

Privacy Policy: Our Commitment to You: VIDA Salon is dedicated to establishing trust with you, our customer, and to protecting your privacy. All personal identifying information collected by us will be used for the sole purpose of maintaining our relationship with you. When you sign up for services with VIDA Salon or make a purchase on our website, you will be asked to provide contact and payment information. The contact information will include your name, address, phone number and email address. The payment information typically includes your credit card number and information necessary to conduct a credit card transaction for the services purchased on our website.
